A Ki there is no Kenkyukai (気�研究会), periodically known as Ki Society, was founded by Koichi Tohei in 1971, while he was however a main teacher at a Aikikai Hombu Dojo. Its foundation reflected Tohei's differences by having a Aikikai, and his have emphasis in getting a conception of Ki.

A style taught per Ki Society is typically known as Ki-Aikido. Its official title is Shinshin Toitsu Aikido - "Aikido with mind and body unified".

A Ki-society & Ki-aikido has its primary facilities, called Ki Society H.Q, inside Tochigi-prefecture.
